wealth of information about all things Shih Tzu but she also showers them with
love and care from birth and it shows!
I was on Susan’s waiting list for about a year and she kept in touch about
expected litters. She also sent me texts and photos after my puppy was born! By
the time I picked up Romeo, he was well adjusted (not skittish) socialized with
siblings and well on the way to being fully pad trained!
I also received a clean bill of health from her vet and the puppy was given his
first shots. Susan gave me a wealth of information through email, texts and
phone calls on what to buy and where, so I was totally prepared to bring Romeo
home! Such a great experience and I would highly recommend!

Hi Susan, I just want to check in with you and tell you what an absolute blessing this baby has been for us! She is growing and so full of energy. She weighs 3 lbs 1 oz this week at the vet. She doesn’t take a lot of naps anymore. This week its been wide open, playing all day. She catches a little nap here and there but oh my goodness she loves running the house like crazy!

We have been certainly blessed with Pollyanna! And it was a blessing that we found you! After already being scammed by a breeder I learned very quickly to be cautious because so many are out there! Then I found you! You had me to talk with other parents that had adopted from you so I would know you were the real deal. Pollyanna is a beautiful, healthy baby girl. You made the adoption process so easy. Keeping us informed from the day she was born until the day we brought her home. You have given us so much information to care for her and keep her on a good path! I know I can still contact you anytime I still have questions. She was pad trained which is such a big deal starting out. Your an amazing breeder who cares about every baby you have. Anyone that is blessed to be able to adopt a baby from you is in the best hands they could be in. I appreciate you and all you do for your babies. Susan Lewis raises only two litters of Shih Tzu puppies per year and you should consider your self-blesseds to get one of these fur babies! She screens these puppies for genetic diseases and offers a one-year health guarantee for these AKC Registered dogs. She provides detailed care instructions for the puppies to assure that they have a smooth transition to your home. My pup already knew how to use a pee pad when I brought her home! Little Miss Muffet is very playful with a sweet disposition.
I am in Florida and Susan is in Alabama. Her husband, George , drove 8 hours round trip to meet me for puppy delivery. Susan was very generous in providing favorite toys and a blanket, that my pup was already accustomed to. Susan is always available to answer any questions that may come up. I searched many months for a top-quality shih tzu puppy. One day I came across a photo of an absolutely stunning shih tzu puppy with the facial features and body shape that I was looking for. If she missed my call she always called me back the same day. Susan never became tired of my calls. I received photos and comments about my baby’s developing personality frequently. I picked up my little angel Rosie on Easter Sunday of 2023. You can count on Susan after you have your new baby home. If you have any questions concerning your baby you can call Susan and she is available to you. Heaven knows I made lots of calls to Susan. It is great that Susan is such a careful breeder. She has her puppy parents DNA health tested. Kudos to Susan Lewis for being named one of the top 6 breeders of Shih Tzu’s in Alabama. I am now the proud mom of three babies from Susan. As long as Susan Lewis breeds these gorgeous healthy babies, I wouldn’t consider getting a shih tzu from any other breeder. My Rosie is a beauty!

We had an amazing experience with this breeder! Susan is extremely careful in ensuring that her puppies go to loving, responsible homes. It was clear from the very beginning how much they genuinely care for their dogs. When our puppy, Jazzie, was first born and wasn’t feeling well, Susan’s husband even slept on the floor next to her to make sure she was okay! That level of dedication and love really shows the kind of care these puppies receive. Jazzie has grown into the sweetest, healthiest little Shih Tzu, and we couldn’t be more grateful. All Of Shih Tzu Showoffs are wonderful. I waited on a list for a year to get mine. He is well worth it. So loving and well-behaved and loves people. He was already pad trained and socialized when I got him. He is just the best companion. The Breeder has all DNA tested which is great because you will know they are purebred and free of any negative health problems. She even sent him home with his favorite toys he had been raised with. She breeds them for small Shih Tzus. About 6-8 lbs. If you are looking for a small loving Shih Tzu you need to look no further than Show Offs. She is always available for your questions and gives you feeding charts and other things you need to know. I can’t say enough good things about the babies she raises. She is honest and forthright and knows all about Shih Tzus because she has been raising them for over 20 years. Well worth the wait to get one of these puppies.
